What is a welcome day?
A welcome day is an opportunity to visit the college and build those essential relationships with your future tutors and peers before joining us in September. This is a fantastic opportunity that we highly encourage all applicants to participate in. On the day –
- A member of your chosen curriculum will greet you and your fellow future class mates in Derby Road main reception.
- You will take part in ice breaker activities.
- You will be given activities to try over the summer, prior to your course starting full-time in September.
As well as much more.
What to bring
On the day, you will just need a pen, some paper and any burning questions you might have.
Our campuses are accessible via road, and are in close proximity to the train stations, and public bus services also run close to the college. There is ample parking on-site.
If you need any more information before the event, please contact a member of the learner engagement team on:

We look forward to seeing you on the day.
