The theatre, at West Nottinghamshire College’s Derby Road campus, is playing host to a week-long summer school in August for 8-12-year-olds, giving youngsters a unique opportunity to have a creative and fun experience.

The summer school is based on the theme of superheroes and is being run by Something Theatre from Monday 14 August to Friday 18 August, 10am to 3pm.

Children will have the opportunity to sing, dance and act their way to become a superhero and create a play which will be performed at the end of the week.

Places cost £55 for the week and siblings just outside the 8-12 years age bracket may be considered for places. All tutors are fully-qualified and fully-insured and are DBS registered.

For more information and to book a place contact Julie Colley on Julie@somethingtheatre.co.uk or on 07949 711557. You can also find more details on the Create Theatre website at www.createtheatre.co.uk
